The most powerful
personal light I have ever owned, and easy to operate with a
gloved hand, This LED can pick up reflective material on
turnout gear from a great distance, certainly an added
benefit.

"I recently picked up the Wolf Eyes Sniper and can't say
enough about this light. It hasn't left my belt since
it was delivered. It has four settings, Blinding, Bright,
Low and Strobe. Everyone that I show the light wants to know
where I got it...they love the construction as well as the
price. You can't get this much light for the price
anywhere...
I just wanted to thank you, and tell you that I love the
light, and the rechargeable kit was a godsend for the
pocket. I plan on picking up a few more, as every situation
can call for a different light.

My Team tried the 6HF Cree kit with the 260 Lumen LED.
This is a very effective and impressive tool for any
professional soldier. The service at Liotec was just
like the product excellent!

The
Defender is a tactical flashlight that any law enforcement
officer or professional security officer would love to
have. This amazing, actually, stunning light will lay to
rest any disappointment that you may have experienced when
using anemic, underpowered 1st generation LED
flashlights. At 260 lumens, this super bright, focused
white light is more than sufficient to illuminate objects
and areas from a distance normally reserved for powerful
halogen torches with all their inherent disadvantages, such
as a short battery life and bulbs that can burn out.
At just
over 5-1/4”, this light can easily be carried on your duty
belt without weighing you down or getting in the way.
Another valuable feature is the strobe function which is
designed to disorientate attackers and is also invaluable
for signaling your location to additional responders.
Simply push the rubber switch located on the tail to
activate the light or push it again to reduce the lumen
output for situations not requiring full power. This is a
great way to extend battery life. Pushing it a third time
will activate the unique and practical strobe feature.
Users will
also appreciate the crenellated bezel design which can be
utilized for self defense in an emergency situation. One
suggestion is to soften the somewhat sharp edges on the
bezel in order to minimize uncomfortable skin contact when
using an open top holster. This modification would not
compromise its design for use in a defensive manner.
Although
the Defender utilizes two lithium C123A batteries, it
produces a run time of 80-110 minutes with useable light for
another four hours. This is an improvement over the short 45
to 60 minute run time, at best, available with competitive
halogen tactical lights. The Defender also can be purchased
with a rechargeable battery that reduces the battery
expense, a feature I highly recommend for those on a tight
budget. The LED light also runs considerably cooler than any
halogen flashlight thereby reducing the chance of burns from
the intense heat generated by halogen bulbs.
In
summary, I give this flashlight a strong “buy”
recommendation. I own one and am so impressed that I
retired my Stream Light TL2 and TL3. It is well worth the
price and will easily please the most demanding user. You
will immediately be impressed with the light output that is
now possible from the cutting-edge LED lighting technology
incorporated in the “Defender.”
